We currently have a vacancy for a Solutions Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in The Hague, Netherlands. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Drive definition of solutions (blueprinting) together with peers in the Architecture team and delivery project engineers;
- Assess technologies and products suitable for the solution to be deployed or amended, including security, application, and infrastructure aspects;
- Collaborate actively with the security and compliance teams, within and outside of ICT, to devise, discuss, and agree on applicable security and compliance controls matching Europol policies and regulations;
- Write OAUTH authentication mechanisms and implement validation mechanisms as unit and integration tests;
- Provide engineering and delivery teams guidance and clarifications on solution or product characteristics, behaviour expected, and objectives to be achieved.
- University degree and more than 9 years of experience in ICT Solution Architecture and Design;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solution architecture definition, documentation, and delivery support;
- Experience in at least one project devising big data solutions leveraging technologies such as Elasticsearch, Neo4J, NoSQL databases, and SQL databases;
- Experience with solutions related to data acquisition processing, reporting, analytics solutions, such as data visualization, pipelining, etc.;
- Good Knowledge of microservices-based architectures and supporting data/application integration methods;
- Knowledge of ArchiMate or other equivalent architecture notation;
- Excellent command of the English language..
