About the Role

Planful is looking for an individual with strong technical aptitude and passion for working with customers during the deployment process. A successful candidate must work well in a team environment while being a resourceful, independent self-starter. You will be the functional lead on implementation projects, assuming responsibility for the customer specific application design and providing oversight to the team during the application configuration, testing, knowledge transfer and rollout activities. Candidates must have the ability to travel at least 25% of the time.

Responsibilities 

• Assess and optimize existing implementations/builds of Planful’s Financial Performance Management Suite 
• Manage multiple customer consultations and projects for Planful focused on planning, close management and reporting processes.
• Facilitate discovery and design session with clients to assess business requirements.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of key accounts through ongoing engagement, projects/initiatives and partnership with the Customer Success team . 
• Analyze existing client financial planning and reporting processes to determine how these models will work best within the solution. 
• Provide best practice recommendations and solutions to clients to ensure they are utilizing Planful with current, optimized methods. 
• Provide escalation support and leadership to diagnose and resolve issues at a systemic/root cause. 
• Be a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to clients in areas such as change management, business process design and redesign, process improvements and analytics. 
• Utilize data and “early warning systems” to proactively identify opportunities and risks within a clients adoption and use of Planful. 
• Work with our Customer Success teams to identify, engage, deliver and maintain targeted accounts to drive customer retention, satisfaction and health. .
• Participate in User Conference, delivering presentations about industry leading solutions.
• Willing to travel up to 25%. 

What you Bring to the Table

• 5+ years of Accounting or FP&A experience focusing on financial reporting and budgeting and/or close management.
• SaaS Experience a must.
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting and budgeting.
• Has managed and /or implemented Financial Management software.
• Executive presence to interact with senior-level executives.
• Customer-centric with a strong sense of urgency for customer care.
• Strong project management, problem-solving skills and analytical skills. 
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Transparency Statement

At Planful our top priority is to support our employees and ensure each individual has access to equal growth opportunities. Pay decisions take into consideration the individual's skillset, experience, knowledge, qualifications for the role, and specific work location.
