Job Description
Solution Architecture & Delivery 
  • Lead the design of Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions within assigned client engagements 

  • Translate business requirements into clear, fit‑for‑purpose technical solutions 

  • Define integration patterns, data flows, and non‑functional requirements in line with established standards 

  • Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle 

  • Review and assure solution designs to ensure quality, scalability, and alignment with best practices 

  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical and architectural issues within delivery engagements 

Client Engagement 
  • Work collaboratively with clients to understand business processes, challenges, and technology landscapes 

  • Facilitate architecture and solution design workshops 

  • Provide trusted advisory support on platform capabilities, design trade‑offs, and future roadmap considerations 

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders 

Business Development & Growth 
  • Support pre‑sales activities including solution design, effort estimation, and proposal development 

  • Contribute to RFPs, SOWs, and change requests 

  • Identify opportunities to extend or enhance client engagements through additional services or solution optimisation

Leadership & Capability 
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to consultants and developers without formal line management responsibility 

  • Apply ERM architecture standards, patterns, and delivery assets consistently across engagements 

  • Support capability development within Salesforce and MuleSoft delivery teams 

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement within project teams 

Governance, Risk & Compliance 
  • Identify and manage technical and delivery risks within client engagements 

  • Ensure solutions comply with ERM policies, information security requirements, and client standards 

  • Adhere to WH&S policies and safe work practices 

  • Escalate risks, issues, or incidents in a timely manner 

SkillsKnowledge & Experience 
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering Salesforce solutions in enterprise or government environments 

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing integrations using MuleSoft, including API‑led and event‑driven architectures 

  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data modelling, security, and non‑functional requirements 

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders 

  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment 

  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity 

  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple client engagements 

  • Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, or architectural guidance within delivery teams 

  • Familiarity with delivery governance, design assurance, and architectural standards 

Selection Criteria Essential 
  • Proven Salesforce solution architecture experience 

  • Proven MuleSoft integration design experience 

  • Experience acting as the primary solution architect on complex delivery engagements 

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability 

  • Consulting or professional services experience 

Desirable 
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g. Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent) 

  • MuleSoft certifications (e.g. MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect) 

  • Experience working within large, integrated enterprise landscapes (e.g. ERP, data platforms, legacy systems) 

  • Experience contributing to pre‑sales activities, including solution design, estimates, RFPs, or SOWs 

  • Experience contributing to or applying architecture standards and design patterns 

  • Experience mentoring or coaching consultants and developers.

Skills Required
