About this role
Join Ericsson as a RAN Solution Architect to design and deliver end to end Network Roll Out solutions and lead Network Solution Introduction across the RAN lifecycle. You'll partner with customers to introduce new features, hardware, and software efficiently-driving quality, performance, and time to value through automation and best practice deployment toolchains. What you will do
• Prepare and present solution descriptions, BoQs, and technical proposals to customers and internal stakeholders.• Steer RAN deployment and integration from an architectural perspective, working with design and integration teams.• Perform solution risk assessments, identify gaps, and drive mitigation plans.• Act as the technical authority during customer workshops, clarifications, and negotiations.• Contribute to methodologies, templates, and best practices for RAN solutioning and integration.• Keep up to date with 3GPP evolution, Ericsson portfolio (including Cloud RAN / Open RAN where applicable), and competitor offerings.• Coach teams; contribute to solution templates, checklists, and reuse• Lead NSI planning and execution (lab validation, pilot, rollout waves) to introduce new RAN features/HW/SW with CI/CD aligned methods; coordinate continuous upgrade plans.• Orchestrate NRO delivery: site engineering through integration and customer acceptance using Ericsson toolchain (e.g., Sitetracker, ESR BoM, ECA acceptance, ESI/PCI/SRS for integration & test; ECO/DMP APMP for workforce).
The skills you bring
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.• 6+ years of experience in RAN design, integration, optimization, or solution architecture. 2+ years as Lead SI or Solution Architect• Strong knowledge of LTE and 5G NR (NSA and SA)• Proven delivery of Network Swap/Modernization, NSI/LCS (feature validation, introductions, continuous SW upgrades) and KPI based acceptance.• Strong hands on with Ericsson RAN/ENM; working knowledge of Cloud RAN/Open RAN architecture is a plus.• Familiarity with Core 3 ways of working and EPMM; ability to author SoW, RASCI, milestones, risk & acceptance plans.• Excellent stakeholder management; fluent English; regional travel as needed
