The Solution Architect is a key role responsible for leading, designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet the strategic and operational needs of an organization. This role involves engaging with clients & stakeholders, working in cross-functional teams, to understand business drivers, assess application portfolios, and design reliable, scalable, efficient, and cost-effective strategies & solutions leveraging cloud services and industry best-practices.

Responsibilities

  • The position requires a strong background in information architecture/business analysis, particularly in SharePoint and Power Platform, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Engage with client executive and technical stakeholders to design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions 
  • Developing comprehensive solutions aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, efficiency, and cost 
  • Provide expert level client-collateral including architectural drawings, design specifications, implementation guides, documentation, and operational procedures 
  • Lead technical teams in the development and deployment of cloud solutions, providing expert guidance, and resolving complex technical challenges 
  • Ensure cloud solutions meet security and compliance standards, including data protection, encryption, access control, and regulatory requirements 
  • Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize return-on-investment for our clients 
  • Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the cloud solution architect community 
  • Keep current of emerging technologies and industry trends, identify innovative solutions, and recognize opportunities for efficiency. 
  • Lead engagement teams, delegate responsibilities, and mentor fellow consultants 
  • Lead and coordinate projects, ensuring they stay on track and within scope 
  • Work within the sales process to lead technical whiteboards, scope projects, create sales collateral, and present to C-Level executives. 
  • Comfortable leading client whiteboards and working as part of a functional sales team 
  • Identify future engagement opportunities during existing client engagements and convey those needs to account executives and practice leadership 
  • Effective verbal and communication skills to interact with clients, understand their requirements, and convey technical information in a clear and concise manner 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to develop rapport with team members and client stakeholders 
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 
  • Be a self-starter, self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Microsoft 365 Suite: Teams; SharePoint; OneDrive for Business; Purview 
  • Microsoft Power Platform: PowerApps; Power Automate 
  • Copilot: Copilot for Microsoft 365; Copilot Studio 
  • Migrations: Experience with complex, multi workstream migrations to and from M365 
  • PowerShell: Extensive experience in M365 PowerShell automation (preferably PnP) 
  • Expertise in designing SharePoint and web-based content solutions, including UI/UX design and Information Architecture 
  • Expertise in building solutions that integrate and extend Microsoft 365: SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams, Microsoft Graph, and Copilot Studio 
  • Experience with developing solutions using the Power Platform suite of products (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dataverse)  
  • Experience with Copilot for Microsoft 365 and Copilot Studio, including familiarity with the extensibility frameworks surrounding these products 
  • Evaluating and re-engineering business processes to improve efficiency and workflow automation 
  • Five or more years in consulting with enterprise clients 
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education diploma in Information Technology is desired. 
  • Migration Tooling:DryvIQ, AvePoint Fly, ShareGate, BitTitan, Dataverse; SharePoint Development Framework; Microsoft Syntex/ SharePoint Premium
