Note: This role is remote, but the final candidate must be located in São Paulo, Brazil.
ClickHouse is focused on growing a vibrant user community and becoming a cloud-first company. We are looking for our first Solution Architect to help build out our LatAm user and customer community. This is an exciting opportunity to join right after the GA of our serverless Cloud product and help us form a vision for that in the LatAm market. Our ideal candidate is a technical professional capable of offering customers specialized business and technical expertise. This role involves providing expert guidance to help clients achieve their objectives and better understand how they utilize ClickHouse.
What you will be doing:
- Comfortable working with complex business and technological requirements and translating into the design of solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise scale architecture.
- Working directly with customers at every layer of their organization (C Suite to data scientists and developers) and acting as a trusted advisor for our users.
- Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and products, and secure strategic commercial commitments.
- Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers.
- Identify and drive new initiatives that enable customers to turn their data into actionable business value and align these initiatives with their business outcomes for continued success.
- Working with partners to help scale the business and build a strong technical ecosystem to support our customers in the region
What you bring along:
- 10+ years of experience at a minimum with Open Source Software business models and proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software is a minimum requirement.
- Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
- Experience with creating POCs and reference implementations.
- Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish
Bonus Points:
- Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers.
- Experience with database programming and data models.
