Solution Architect - Enterprise Performance Management

This role sits within our APAC EPM Delivery team, supporting implementations of JustPerform, our cloud-based EPM platform for budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidations, and performance reporting.

We’re looking for an experienced EPM Solution Architect to design, lead, and deliver end-to-end JustPerform solutions for enterprise customers across APAC. You will work closely with finance stakeholders (FP&A, controllers, CFO teams) to translate complex business processes into scalable, efficient EPM models and architectures.

This is a senior, client-facing role requiring strong functional finance knowledge and hands-on implementation experience across modern EPM platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Design end-to-end EPM solutions on JustPerform, aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Build multidimensional models, hierarchies, business rules, and planning/consolidation logic.
• Define solution blueprints covering data integration, workflow, automation, and reporting.

Implementation & Delivery

• Lead the configuration, testing, and deployment of EPM solutions.
• Integrate data from ERP and source systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.).
• Ensure solution quality through UAT, performance validation, and optimization.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with finance, accounting, FP&A, and business teams to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, validate business rules, and manage expectations.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Technical Leadership

• Provide best-practice guidance to consultants and delivery teams.
• Establish modeling standards, governance frameworks, and reusable design patterns.
• Support proof-of-concept work and continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Support

• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and resource planning.
• Identify risks and ensure deliverables are completed to high quality within timelines.
• Support change management activities, training, and knowledge transfer.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience implementing EPM/FP&A solutions (e.g., Oracle EPM, OneStream, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, Pigment, or similar).
• Strong background in financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting).
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale EPM or FP&A solutions.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and financial reporting concepts.
• Strong multidimensional modeling skills (dimensions, hierarchies, business rules, allocations).
• Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and API-based integrations.
• Proficiency in SQL, MDX, or equivalent modeling/logic languages.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into structured models.
• Strong communication skills in English required.

Business and Domain Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
• Experience with financial close processes, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and allocation methodologies
• Knowledge of industry-specific planning requirements across various sectors
• Familiarity with emerging EPM trends including predictive analytics, machine learning, and extended planning and analysis (xP&A)

• Industry-specific knowledge in areas such as finance, manufacturing, or retail is highly desirable
• Relevant EPM certifications (e.g., Oracle EPM Specialist, SAP BPC Certification) are preferred
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
