This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the candidate experience across SEEK’s Jobs Marketplace. As a Solution Architect within the Candidate portfolio of our Customer Architecture domain, you’ll design complex, scalable technology solutions focused on search, discovery, SEO and engagement. These solutions help millions of people find meaningful work every day.

You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and fellow Architects to deliver elegant, future-ready solutions that drive visibility, relevance and interaction—ensuring SEEK remains the platform of choice for jobseekers.

What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Assess current state systems and identify opportunities for evolution
✅ Design and document future state architecture across web, mobile and search platforms
✅ Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to develop solution options
✅ Provide technical guidance to delivery teams, supporting effective implementation
✅ Establish and embed non-functional requirements into all designs
✅ Ensure alignment with SEEK’s architecture standards, patterns and business goals
✅ Create architecture artefacts to guide design and planning
✅ Influence decision-making by articulating trade-offs and guiding toward scalable outcomes

The Opportunity

You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing Architecture team at SEEK—more than 20 professionals across six areas: Enterprise, Customer, Data & AI, Platform, Growth, and Architecture Practices. This role is embedded in the Customer Architecture team, specifically supporting the Candidate portfolio, with a focus on how people discover, explore and engage with opportunities through SEEK.

What We’re Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
• Extensive experience defining and documenting solution architectures in complex settings
• Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills
• Experience architecting online web products or mobile applications
• Familiarity with SEO and/or Search solution design
• Working knowledge of AWS-hosted environments or GenAI use in architecture
