Note: This role is remote, but the final candidate must be located in either Australia or Singapore and be open to regional travel as needed.
ClickHouse is focused on growing a vibrant user community and becoming a cloud-first company. We are looking for a seasoned Solution Architect to help build out our rapidly growing user and customer community in the ANZ/ASEAN region. This is an exciting opportunity to join right after our Series C funding round closed, and demand for our Cloud and managed offerings has skyrocketed. Our ideal candidate is a technical professional capable of offering customers specialized business solutions and technical expertise based on their use case. This role involves providing expert guidance to help clients achieve their objectives and better understand how they utilize ClickHouse.
What you will be doing:
- Working with complex business and technological requirements and translating into the design of solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise scale architecture.
- Working directly with customers at every layer of their organization (C Suite to data scientists and developers) and acting as a trusted advisor for our users.
- Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and products, and secure strategic commercial commitments.
- Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers.
- Identify and drive new initiatives that enable customers to turn their data into actionable business value and align these initiatives with their business outcomes for continued success.
- Working with partners to help scale the business and build a strong technical ecosystem to support our customers in the Australia, New Zealand, and ASEAN regions
What you bring along:
- 8+ years of experience at a minimum with Open Source Software business models and proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software
- Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
- Experience with creating POCs and reference implementations
- Fluency in English
Bonus Points:
- Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers.
- Experience with database programming and data models.
For roles based in the United States, the typical starting salary range for this position is listed above. In certain locations, such as Los Angeles, CA, the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, the Seattle, WA, Area, and the New York City Metro Area, a premium market range may apply, as listed.
These salary ranges reflect what we reasonably and in good faith believe to be the minimum and maximum pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation may be higher or lower than the amounts listed, and the ranges may be subject to future adjustments.
