Iron Mountain is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Lifecycle Management Solutions Architect to join our Asset Lifecycle Management Business Unit team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving technical innovation, executing pre-sales discovery, and designing cutting-edge, profitable solutions that resolve complex client technology lifecycle challenges.
You will join our collaborative Asset Lifecycle Management Business Unit team, a global services organization dedicated to creating transformative solutions, mitigating operational risks, and driving sustainable business growth for our valued enterprise clients.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Client Engagement & Discovery: Collaborate with sales and account management teams to lead deep client discovery, perform business process analysis, and conduct customized solution demonstrations.
Architectural Solution Design: Create detailed, profitable, and secure technical designs encompassing hardware, software, and system integration components built to scale.
Proposal & Contract Development: Support the end-to-end sales lifecycle by translating technical architectures into clear client-facing proposals, Request for Proposal (RFP) and variant procurement document (RFx) responses, contracts, and Statements of Work (SOW).
Stakeholder Management & Revenue Support: Partner cross-functionally with clients, product managers, and engineers to maintain alignment and assist in pre-sales activities that achieve revenue growth targets.
Project Oversight & Risk Assessment: Oversee the implementation of proposed architectures, mitigate technical risks, manage external vendor relationships, and provide post-implementation support to ensure total client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have:
3–5 years of experience in Technical and Pre-Sales engineering roles (experience in the service or outsourcing industry is preferred).
Strong knowledge of Information Technology Asset Management solutions across both corporate end-user and data center environments, alongside familiarity with the commercial Information Technology hardware market sector.
Proven ability in constructing complex Business-to-Business solutions, handling system integrations, and working with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts and financial fluency models for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Technical, or related field of study.
Flexibility to travel at least 10% (and up to 25% during peak periods) per month.
