Description
The Solids Control Specialist is responsible for operating, performing general maintenance, and assisting with solids control and dewatering services, including rig-ups, rig-downs, equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs. Additionally, the specialist compiles field reports/analysis to ensure client needs are met while working in a safe environment.
• Team player who can take direction from field supervisors/management
• Rigging up and rigging down company equipment on client well-sites
• Effectively maintain and repair all company equipment on client well-sites
• Completion of daily reports
• Work in any outdoor weather conditions and have the ability to travel.
Requirements
• 2+ years' Solids Control Experience
• 2+ years' experience operating Variable Speed Centrifuges & Dewatering
• 2+ years’ experience operating excavator / trackhoe
• PEC Safety Card or SafeGulf/SafeLand, or Rig Pass
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Pass Pre-employment screening: Drug Screen, Physical, MVR, and Background Check
• Heavy Equipment Certification to operate an Excavator
• Must be State Side / U.S. citizen
• Mechanical and Electrical abilities
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Must have heavy equipment, H2S, fall protection, OSHA, and overhead crane validated certifications.
Skills Required
- 2+ years Solids Control experience
- 2+ years operating Variable Speed Centrifuges and dewatering systems
- 2+ years operating excavator / trackhoe
- Heavy Equipment Certification to operate an excavator
