Job Summary

The Solid Surface Fabricators cut, shape, build and assemble solid surface countertops, thermo-form and clad vertical surfaces.

 

 

Essential Functions

  • Set up and operate a variety of machinery to complete the fabrication and/or assembly of projects.

  • Read shop drawings to analyze the scope of the project.

  • Availability to work overtime, as needed, to meet deadlines

  • Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the Lead or Manager.

  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and safely. 

  • Follow the prescribed safety regulations


Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of materials, methods and tools required

  • Ability to work with a team

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Good mathematical skills

  • Basic computer skills required



Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Custom Commercial fabrication required



Physical Requirements

  • Regularly require the ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach

  • Regularly require the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

  • Periodically require the ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds

  • None

Skills Required
