In this position, you will be accountable for the planning, specification, development, test, release and documentation of IT Accessories used with our medical devices and IVD products. The Design Control work involves interaction with a broad range of colleagues in the organization (Marketing, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Lab technicians, other Design Control Specialists and our Service organization) to ensure that the right products are delivered on time. IT accessories represent in our context typically standard IT equipment being customized to fulfill requirement for our offerings. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Initiate and execute engineering changes to complete key sustaining/maintenance initiatives
• Coordinate and leading activities related to enhancement of IT accessories
• Plan R&D activities for projects including resource estimation
• Align stakeholder needs for impacted instruments & accessories and create detailed requirements of critical features
• Planning, generation and update of Design Control documentation according to Agilent Quality Management System (QMS)
• Evaluate and customize IT equipment to fulfill detailed requirements
• Plan and execute testing as part of verification (with assistance from lab technicians and a Mumbai based Test Team)
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and monitor of new regulations/guidelines 

This is a temporary contract of 2 years (with the possibility of becoming permanent) based in Glostrup (Copenhagen), where partial remote work would be an option (up to 2 days a week). 
 

Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:

• Ideally an engineering university degree in IT/Computer/Software or a Life Science field 
 Significant experience with Hardware/Software configuration, including Microsoft Windows 
Experience or interest in Design Control 
• Experience with / Knowledge of medical devices / IVD a strong plus
• Full proficiency in English. Proficiency in Danish would be a plus.

You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
