Job DescriptionWe are seeking a software developer to be part of our hardware validation efforts. This role requires a background in software development and firmware validation. The ideal candidate will design and implement software systems that validate and test NVMe SSD features, ensuring they meet industry standards. This position also involves test design and planning, some degree of technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
QualificationsEducational Background:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Candidates may apply if the degree is completed or if they are enrolled and actively pursuing it.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in software development, hardware validation, or related roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
- Knowledge of software architecture and embedded systems.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Understanding of hardware components and their validation requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications running on Linux systems.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, etc.).
- Document code, processes, and system configurations.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hardware validation for specific industries, such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with Issues and Project Tracking System (e.g., Jira).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI/CD).
