Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Software Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Vienna, Austria. The work will be carried out remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Ability to use a disciplined approach for planning, designing, executing and reporting on software testing;
- Working in an Agile software development, Microsoft Team Foundation Server or equivalent to support software testing;
- Develop several types of software testing (e.g. functional, performance, security, etc.);
- Hands-on working on creating test cases, test plans, test reports;
- Preparation of technical documentation.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in an Agile software development environment;
- Minimum of 4 years of experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or equivalent to support software testing;
- Minimum of 3 years of automating test cases using tools like Selenium WebDriver (C#), JMeter, SoapUI, etc.;
- Experience with several types of software testing (e.g. functional, performance, security, etc.);
- Hands-on working experience creating test cases, test plans, test reports;
- Experience in testing applications built on Power Platform is considered an asset;
- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification or equivalent will be considered an asset;
- A strong understanding of software architecture and network technologies that facilitates white-box testing, including security testing, will be considered an asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.
