Adree is looking for a Software Tester (Manual & Automation) to support our product development and software delivery initiatives by leveraging technical, testing, and analytical expertise to articulate the value of stable, high-quality digital solutions. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and technical requirements, and clearly demonstrate how a balanced approach of comprehensive manual validation and robust automated testing frameworks can address their needs.
You will be responsible for bridging the gap between rapid software development and seamless end-user execution, collaborating across teams to ensure application robustness and functional stability. By blending structured manual verification, automated testing scripts, and rigorous API validation, you will guarantee that our digital products meet top-tier performance, security, and functional standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities- Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather product requirements, understand user expectations, and define comprehensive testing strategies across manual and automated workflows.
- Deliver impactful presentations, test plans, and coverage reports showcasing quality matrices, automated script readiness, and defect statuses.
- Support the product and engineering teams in translating complex business requirements into clear, executable manual test suites and automated scripts.
- Provide technical insights and quality engineering expertise throughout the product lifecycle to analyze test results, run regression suites, and isolate platform bugs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including developers and product managers) to capture feedback and drive continuous quality and process improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends, automated frameworks, and software testing tools to position quality assurance practices effectively.
- Conduct test reviews, script validation sessions, and defect triage meetings internally and with clients to align development fixes with user specifications.
- Participate in Agile workflows and sprint alignments, representing Adree's engineering capabilities and ensuring development adheres to rigorous quality parameters.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience across both manual and automation testing disciplines.
- Proven experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Demonstrated track record operating within Agile development methodologies and standard Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC).
- Deep proficiency with manual testing techniques, core QA methodologies, and structured test case design patterns.
- Strong skills in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting and test maintenance.
- Practical enterprise expertise in API testing using industry-standard tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Hands-on familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git, for test suite repository management.
- Analytical skills to run root-cause analysis on software defects, evaluate complex business rules, and troubleshoot platform logic errors.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities; professional certifications like ISTQB are a strong plus.
- Manual and automated test case design, engineering, and execution management.
- Frontend automation engineering utilizing web frameworks (Selenium/TestNG/JUnit).
- API backend validation and endpoint interface testing via Postman.
- Version control repository management and branching setups via Git.
- Agile team integration, defect tracking, and sprint validation execution.
- Technical documentation authorship including test plans and execution reports.
