Software Test Engineer

As a Software Test Engineer for Avaloq, you will be creating and maintaining automated tests for the Avaloq Smart Client, APIs and Web.
Your key tasks 

• Create and maintain test cases for the ABR/S baseline. Translate use case and test case documents into automated test cases. Fix or adapt the test cases if deemed necessary.
• Perform business as usual operations such as reporting bugs/problems that are discovered by the automated tests.
• Innovate and maintain the existing test frameworks.
• Career path directs to ownership of the automated testing framework and subject matter expertise on Avaloq banking modules.

• 2 to 5 years of software testing work experience
• Test Plan and Test Case development and execution
• Functional, Regression, End to End Testing
• Experienced or familiar with API testing via Postman platform
• Has a grasp on object oriented programming and relational database
• Knowledge in Oracle database administration is preferred
• Has excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving
• Has Interest in gaining in-depth knowledge of banking
• Perseverance in analyzing complex situations and finding the optimal solution
• Quality-conscious attitude
• Has high customer orientation
