We have an opportunity for an Embedded Software Test Engineer – Innovative Avionics to join our Honeywell Aerospace team in Krakow.
The Avionics industry is entering into an exciting new age of Urban Air Mobility and Autonomous Flight. Be part of a team that will direct the way in this market by developing new compact and lightweight Next Generation Traffic and Surveillance avionics that will be used on a wide variety of aircraft platforms, from Air Transport and Business Jets to UAM/UAS, allowing you to grow your expertise in an exciting industry niche. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.
You will help create breakthrough innovations that will ensure Honeywell Aerospace’s leadership position. You will be responsible for performing verification and validation for highly complex software functions, being involved in the complete software Verification and Validation life cycle including test planning, software testing, system testing, and certification. Responsibilities- Perform Verification and Validation for new product development
- Provide support for the software testing on legacy airborne surveillance products.

Key Experience & Capabilities:
- Batchelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 2+ years’ experience in embedded software verification or development

- Experience with Input/Output processing for A429, AFDX and Ethernet interfaces
- Avionics software verification and development
- Experience in the areas of software development and verification processes, certifications, and DO-178 design assurance guidelines
- Strong understanding of requirement-based software verification methods
- Working experience in handling Debuggers/Emulators
- Knowledge of Aerospace software certification requirements and guidelines
- Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS or Atlassian tools
- Experience with Agile development processes
