This is a role within Chamberlain Group's Engineering team. A successful incumbent is expected to lead quality assurance through test case development, test script / automation development and test execution for new features and regression testing of one or more of the following depending on assignment: mobile apps, web sites, middleware, IOT devices (such as Garage Door Openers, Commercial Access Controls, Video enabled products)
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead quality assurance through test case development, test script / automation development and test execution for new features and regression testing of one or more of the following depending on assignment: mobile apps and web sites interacting with IOT devices (such as Garage Door Openers, Commercial Access Controls, Video enabled products)
- Work with QE & Dev team to define process and strategy associated with test automation, and implement best practices for testing of website, and mobile apps
- Participate in Scrum, Daily Stand-up, Sprint and iterative development activities. Collaborate with agile team members, scrum master, developers and product owners to support quality assurance activities
- Analyze user stories for new features and tickets assigned, develop test cases and automation, verify them, and support regression testing
- Lead QE team in supporting quality assurance activities for assigned Scrum teams, projects
- Responsible for test case and test script development / reviews, requirements traceability analysis
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope / delivery dates
- Responsible for creation, execution, and maintenance of test plans
- Manage complete scope of work assigned and coordinate with remote and external teams
- Summarize test results. Provide accurate traceability and bug reports for Go/No-Go decisions
- Responsible for complying with the security requirements set forth by the Information Security team and the established ISO 27001 Security Roles, Responsibilities, and Authorities Document found in the ISMS Document Library
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- An advanced degree in directly applicable area of study may substitute for up to two (2) years of experience.
- 3+ years of job-related experience as defined in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proficiency with JavaScript as programming language
- Strong knowledge of test automation of web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge in Playwright automation framework
- Ability to implement continuous integration and build automation systems, such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Octopus, etc.
- Knowledgeable in test case development, test plans and test reports
- Knowledgeable with Test Management, Bug Tracking, Collaboration tools (e.g. Testrail, Jira, Confluence, Qtest, Zephyr), as well as Source Code Management Tools (e.g. Git, TFS, RTC)
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Quality Assurance Certifications (e.g. ISTQB)
- Coding Certifications
- Cloud Certifications
- Experience in automation testing of cloud hosted applications, middleware
- Experience in agile testing
- Hardware testing and automation experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in TDD/BDD approaches and relevant tools such as cucumber
- Experience in IOT domain
