The Software Test Engineer is responsible for crafting detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications, executes these tests, and meticulously documents the results to ensure thorough coverage and accuracy. The role develops comprehensive test plans outlining the scope, objectives, resources, and schedule for testing activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and goals to facilitate effective testing processes and outcomes
You are responsible for:
Performs the role of a test specialist (QA Engineer)
Analysis of requirements from specifications
Define and write test cases against the specification
Automation of the test cases where applicable
Execute the test on the required test infrastructure
Report out the results of test execution in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Participates in Review of verification deliverables
Works with product owner and dev leads in understanding the scope and impact analysis
Identify and retire technical risks through evaluations and feasibilities.
Identify and evaluate state-of-the-art tools to continuously improve the testing process.
Own up the environment setup and upkeep of the same
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
5 - 10 years’ experience in software testing/ Verification and Validation
Bachelor/master’s degree in software/computer engineering
At least 5-6 years of experience in Functional and workflow-based tests
Proven experience in verification and validation in a complex high-tech environment
Experience with setting up and maintaining test infrastructure
Good experience on automation tools, scripting languages is added advantage
Ability to locate and implement improvements in test design and execution
Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical AI usage in software engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills
Good understanding/experience of the healthcare standards is advantage
Good understanding/experience in SAFe way of working
Self-starter, quick learner, ability to work with teams across geographies
Software Craftsmanship mindset
Proactive, self-driven, possessing due sense of urgency.
Quality conscious, Process & customer Oriented
