Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for OS deployment and software installation using C# ,.NET and applications targeting .NET Framework & .NET Core
- Work with multi-project Visual Studio solutions, including core libraries, installers, UI, and test projects.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, background services, and installation logic.
- Implement RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core for deployment orchestration and status reporting.
- Integrate and automate system-level operations via PowerShell scripts and Windows Services.
- Write unit and integration tests using NUnit, xunit and NSubstitute.·
- Work with configuration management (INI, JSON) and ensure robust, environment-aware deployments (Windows, WinPE).
- Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable integration with external systems (SFTP, DNS, etc.).
- Write and maintain technical documentation and deployment scripts.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Debug, profile, and optimize existing code for performance and reliability.
- Follow best practices for source control (Git), build, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, maintainable, and secure code.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in C# and .NET Framework (preferably 4.8).
- Strong experience with C# and .NET (preferably .NET 6/7/8).
- Strong knowledge of Visual Studio and multi-project solution management.
- Experience with REST API development and consumption.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest) and mocking libraries (NSubstitute, Moq).
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with file I/O, serialization (JSON/XML), and Windows services.•
- Experience with ASP.NET Core Web APIs and Windows Service development.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with configuration management (appsettings.json, INI files).
- Experience with logging frameworks (Serilog or similar).
- Understanding of system integration (file system, SFTP, DNS, Windows Services).
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
