We’re looking for a bright and passionate Software Team Lead to join our R&D Core team.
In this critical role, you will lead, design, and develop major parts of our highly scalable and high-performance solution. You would be part of engineering the backbone of a revolutionary platform, including complex networking topology and optimizations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of experienced software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, excellence, and mutual support
- Serve as a mentor and coach, guiding both personal and professional development of team members
- Design, implement, and test network security enterprise solutions
- Perform ongoing research and prototyping for new features and product ideas
- Research new technologies and adopt them for use in the company’s product
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience as a hands-on software developer of a large-scale network or security solution
- 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead
- In-depth knowledge of Networking, Network Protocols, and Environment
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in customizing Linux or Unix-based operating systems
- Strong proficiency with C in a multithreaded environment
- Experience in developing frequently released production code, our production cycles are short
- Working experience with Networking and Real-Time Development, Security and Network Research, and SaaS infrastructure
- Passionate about demystifying performance, and the system internals from the smallest Makefile flags and bios configurations, and up to holistic integrated solutions with many moving parts
- Expert in designing and building highly scalable services, particularly in SMP environments
- A team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills
