Summary Generated by Built In

LGT Wealth Management was formed around a clear and uncompromising vision – to bring global best practice in building institutional quality investment portfolios to Australian clients.

With a shared passion for building an uncompromised business – we created something new from the ground up. A chance to leave behind the things that weren’t working, while enhancing the things that were. Our authentic and personalised client-first commitment. Our entrepreneurial spirit. Our focus in best-in-class advice. And our intimate understanding of the Australian private wealth landscape.

In 2022 we became a part of the LGT Group, who shared our entrepreneurial spirit, long-term approach and private-ownership model. Today, with the global expertise, stability, and capability of LGT behind us, we can work without being reliant on markets or margins, with a singular focus on giving our clients the advice and deep expertise they need for generations to come.

We are now expanding our Platform Team and seeking a Software Support Specialist who will play a key role in supporting our business applications, ensuring smooth operations, and empowering internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be the trusted go‑to for a suite of business‑critical applications, including DocuSign, Atlassian (JSM/Confluence), our client portal, Avaloq, and other operational tools. This isn’t a service desk role — it’s a blend of technical support, system administration, stakeholder education, investigation, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide support, maintenance and troubleshooting across key applications used by advisers, operations and front‑office teams.

  • Act as the administrator for Atlassian tools, including building workflows in Jira Service Management, configuring projects, and updating processes to enable the business.

  • Manage and investigate application issues (low‑volume, high‑quality tickets), analyse root causes, and educate users on how to prevent future problems.

  • Support wealth management–focused systems (e.g. client portal, Avaloq, CRM, document management platforms).

  • Maintain and uplift operational documentation using Confluence.

  • Work flexibly to support stakeholders across Australia and occasionally Singapore.

  • Escalate issues appropriately while working independently and managing your workload with ownership and dedication.

  • Build strong relationships and translate technical information into business‑friendly language.

  • Collaborate with vendors, operations teams, and the Platform/DevOps team to optimise system performance.

What’s In It For You

  • Join a globally respected private wealth organisation with strong growth in Australia.

  • Work across a broad ecosystem of applications — the scope will grow as our platform expands.

  • A collaborative, values‑driven culture where your expertise is trusted and your ideas matter.

  • Flexibility and autonomy — no repetitive helpdesk queues.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in application support, production support, platform operations, or similar.

  • Wealth management or financial services knowledge is essential

  • Strong analytical/investigative skills with the ability to dig into the “why”, not just the “what”.

  • Experience supporting integrated systems, APIs, operational workflows, and data‑related issues.

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to educate users rather than simply fix issues.

  • Advanced Excel skills (macros highly regarded).

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

  • Curious mindset, continuous improvement attitude, willingness to take ownership.

  • Experience using or administering: Atlassian (JSM, Jira, Confluence), DocuSign, Avaloq or similar wealth/portfolio systems, Client portal platforms

LGT Wealth Management is committed to the ongoing development of their employees. Your development will be managed and tailored to your role and future career path.
