Job Posting Title:Software Support Specialist - College and Career Readiness

    

Job Description:Develop and enhance system organization in the form of project management especially as it comes to systems integration and enhancement. Provides prompt and courteous technical support and assistance to all district staff for the college and career readiness software. Assists in organization of professional development opportunities. Develops and promotes good community relations among various district and community clientele.

Position Specific Information (if Applicable):

    

Responsibilities:

Support Student Success Directors with support plan software integration and data extraction.

Assist with training sessions for district staff for the college and career readiness software.

Assist with maintaining professional development opportunities, which may include requesting courses to be built in the professional development software, assisting users with registration and course navigation, and reviewing feedback from completed courses.

Manage organization of Professional Learning Opportunities.

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Project Manage system integration.

Provide CDE Special Education State reporting support.

Provide ongoing documentation and maintenance for knowledge base and self support resources.

Provide Level I/II support for the district college and career readiness software.

Assist in college and career readiness software integration with other systems such as Infinite Campus.

Collaborate with the vendor(s) to discuss improvements, updates, and corrections for the software.

Collaborate with the  Information Technology office to develop on system data integration.

    

Work Experience:Three (3) years of experience in software support preferred | Not Required

    

Certifications:

    

Education:Bachelor's Degree (Required)

    

Skills:Ability to use general office equipment, Advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to tailor communications for varying levels of technology literacy., Computer application skills: Microsoft Office and Google Suite, Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to support positive outcomes, Has the ability to perform responsibilities without the necessity of close supervision, Observes all District policies and procedures, Strong organizational and time management skills, Verbal and written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions

Minimum Hire Rate: $75,450.85 USD Annual

   

Maximum Hire Rate: $94,873.83 USD Annual

   

Full Salary Range:$75,450.85 USD - $114,296.82 USD Annual
  • All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.

   

Benefits:This position is eligible for health, vision, dental, health savings account (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), District paid and voluntary additional (supplemental) life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, short and long-term disability, critical illness and accident voluntary insurance, employee assistance program (EAP), voluntary 401(k), 403(b) and 457 retirement plan options. There is also a voluntary 403(b) savings plan with up to 4% District match for up to 5 years from date of hire.

Time Off Plans:This position is eligible for paid off-track, sick and personal time.
