What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:
- Contribute to the development and architecture of our industry-leading modern storage platforms and take part in the full software development life cycle, including development, test, continuous delivery, and support
- Create detailed technical designs for new features and improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all areas.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to networking of storage systems
- Implement company standards and practices to ensure quality and security. Proactively automate network operations by creating and maintaining tools and scripts —always looking for better, faster ways to get things done
- Support and configure power-on for modern networking platforms and test networking features of systems

Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience in the following areas:
- Strong experience with networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet, Infiniband, TCP/IP)
- Developing new functionalities around networking solutions
- Hands-on experience in configuring and managing network switches (e.g. VLANs, STP, LACP, port security, QoS) using CLI on platforms such as Dell, SONiC, or similar
- Knowledge of scripting languages at intermediate level (for example Python), Linux and Docker. Experience with infrastructure security would be a plus
Desirable Requirements
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with Storage systems.
- Knowledge about network performance tuning
- Capacity to achieve proficiency in new tools, languages and frameworks with training and on-the-job experience
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate in an Agile/ Scrum environment
- Self-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from design to implementation
