We are looking for a National Sales Manager to attract new fabricators in the window covering industry to use our pioneering tech innovation software!

As the National Sales Manager you have a proven track record of success in growing sales, experience with the custom window treatment industry, and industry connections to jump start our growth. In this role you will sell a software platform, focusing on the features and benefits and demonstrating them to clients. This is a B2B sales management position with a focus on fabricator support software systems.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop and implement B2B software sales strategies to execute sales to fabricators in the window fashion industry.
  • Grow and manage the sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and existing lead outreach.
  • Our ideal candidate has an existing network in the window treatment industry and is willing to research new leads/initiate cold outreach.
  • Demonstrate technical acumen when interfacing with clients on software usage.
  • Coordinate with product development team for lead-specific solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal sales support team for lead nurturing.
  • Coordinate with marketing team to drive lead generation.
  • Work with Support, Product Development and Development team to drive system innovation and go-to-market strategies
  • Attend Trade shows, conferences and conventions as warranted. (Expectation of quarterly travel.)

MUST HAVES

  • Industry Experience: In Retail, Fabrication and or Workrooms businesses and the nuances and knowledge required for each would be a key qualification for these B2B relationships. 
  • Experience in the industry niche of window treatments.
  • Experience with Window Treatment POS systems or other similar systems
  • Team Player: Sales can require the support of several departments, so working as a team and respecting all team members is required.
  • Software Expertise: The ability to easily learn the operations and details of a software system design and translate customer needs and requirements into solutions within systems.
  • Opportunity Research: With systems and solutions knowledge, a successful Sales Manager must be able to identify and qualify opportunities and continually fill a pipeline of sales leads.
  • Relationship Management: Experience in B2B relationships within the window fashion industry and an interest in account management/relationship management.
  • Written communication: A key to good client relationships is good, clear and convincing communication. Most sales will be remote, so excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
