Company Description

The warehouse of the future is equipped with our iFollow autonomous robots instead of forklifts and our Atlas 2D pallet shuttles or eScala tote shuttles that allow for high-density storage (no wasted space!) and scalable solutions.

As part of stow Group and over the span of more than 40 years, we’ve grown into a company with 10 manufacturing facilities, 19 commercial offices, and the know-how of around 2000 employees serving customers in 40 countries.

Early 2021, we opened our US Office and have already grown to around 50 people. It's exciting times to be at Movu!

Job Description

The SOFTWARE SALES ENGINEER is an integral person in helping our customer’s vision for an automated storage solution from Movu US come to life and win their business by developing comprehensive quotes. Another core objective is to be the subject matter expert of how to connect Movu’s technology to our customer’s software controls.

Opportunity: This is a newly created position and the first of its kind on our US team. This means we’re looking for someone who wants to leave their fingerprint on the organization as we establish a software team in the US.

This individual will have the chance to travel extensively to our headquarters in Belgium for training (approx. 1-2 months). We can think of worse things than spending a summer in Europe 😉

Solutions: Fully automated storage solutions including pallet shuttles (atlas), tote shuttles (escala), automated mobile robots (ifollow), as well as our picking robot (eligo) and ancillary systems such as conveyors and lifts.

Customers: End users are located throughout the United States and Canada. We work with many of the leading integrators as our Sales partners.

As our SOFTWARE SALES ENGINEER, you…

  • understand and articulate customer requirements and align them with Movu’s software solutions
  • manage documentation and process in the US for software solutions, both internally and with our integrator partners
  • work with our integrator end user’s software & IT teams to understand how to connect their platforms to our technology
  • develop a deep understanding of Movu’s software solutions including WCS, WES, and Traffic Control Systems
  • lead efforts in developing the software functional specification document
  • evaluate client needs and workflows to recommend automation enhancements through advanced robotics
  • lead the design and customization of software solutions in the sales process from initial client engagement to solution deployment, including requirements gathering, solution design, and system integration
  • develop comprehensive proposals that address the technical and commercial needs of clients
  • ensure all proposed solutions meet rigorous industry standards and safety regulations
  • collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success
  • provide critical support during the transition from sales to execution, ensuring all software-related aspects are thoroughly reviewed
  • conduct training sessions for clients, ensuring they understand and can effectively use the technologies deployed
  • prepare and present detailed reports and presentations on potential ROI, project status, and strategic recommendations to senior management and clients
  • maintain strong relationships with clients by providing high-level technical support and expertise
  • stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements in robotics, warehouse automation, and logistics software solutions to continuously refine sales engineering activities
