Job Summary
The Sales Engineer is a professional who supports IPConfigure's Sales and Engineering groups in selling technology solutions to prospects and existing customers. They possess technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a track record in supporting the sales of complex enterprise solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with a keen ability to lead customer engagements, and possess an understanding of the video surveillance industry.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
- Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
- Manage the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a seamless transition to the IPConfigure platform.
- Maintain IPConfigure sales demo infrastructure and equipment.
- Effectively communicate customer needs among both sales and engineering.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
- Analytic and problem-solving skills.
- IT and networking experience.
- Knowledge of video surveillance industry and technology is a plus.
- Willingness to travel.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in technical field, or business with significant technical experience
- 3 years of experience in the software industry
