Software Reverse Engineer Skill Level 2

T-Rex is looking for a fully cleared Software Reverse Engineer Skill Level 2 to work on a program in the Fort Meade, Maryland area in support of the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities:

• Perform reverse engineering and debugging on existing software.  Identify defects in software and provide ways to correct defects.  Research open-source vulnerabilities related to software.  Develop methods and techniques to identify if running software is vulnerable.

• Experience developing software for embedded systems.  Experience automating reverse engineering tasks.
• Experience with low-level programming and assembly language.  Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.  Knowledge of industry standard reverse-engineering tools

Requirements:

• Ten (10) years' experience as a software reverse engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Four (4) years of additional reverse engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

• Active TS/SCI FSP

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
