What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Quality Engineer you will be part of a cross-functional UI team, you will own the quality strategy and test automation for key product areas, working closely with developers, designers, and other QEs. This role involves both hands-on testing and strategic thinking, ensuring high-quality delivery of frontend features and platform releases.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Quality Ownership
Own the quality lifecycle for assigned frontends/applications — from understanding requirements to sign-off.
Define and implement test strategy, test plans,test closure report and get them reviewed by peers and the QE lead.
Perform manual validations for new UI features and frontend functionality in collaboration with developers.
- Ensure smooth execution of regression testing; proactively investigate and fix failures with minimal guidance.
Automation & Tools
Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases using tools like Playwright (primary), Selenium WebDriver, and REST-assured/ReadyAPI when needed.
- Contribute to improving and scaling our test automation framework to match growing UI coverage.
- Optimize test execution for speed and reliability as part of CI/CD pipelines.
Release Readiness
Participate in platform release planning and QA readiness checks, providing a formal QA sign-off for the components you own.
- Ensure consistent coverage across functional, regression, integration, and UI tests.
- Validate production deployments and support troubleshooting as needed during release windows.
Collaboration & Agile Practices
Work closely with frontend developers, UX, and product teams during story grooming, development, and validation.
Be an active contributor in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Help define acceptance criteria for new features, advocate for edge cases, and raise quality concerns early.
Mentorship & Team Contribution
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to junior QEs and cross-functional team members
• Conduct test reviews, KT sessions, and assist in onboarding of new quality engineers.
• Contribute to building a strong quality culture within the team and across the org.

Essential Requirements
6+ years of experience in quality engineering for web applications.
Experience with Playwright (primary), hands-on experience with Selenium, and familiarity with REST-assured or ReadyAPI.
Strong background in manual and automated frontend testing in Agile environments.
Good understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-based UIs.
Familiarity with test planning, writing test cases, and triaging production issues.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for CI/CD pipelines, test environments, and deployment issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to learn
Desirable Requirements
Exposure to JavaScript/React applications.
Experience working in SaaS platforms or enterprise-grade frontend systems.
- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS/Azure.
- Experience working in multi-team setups, supporting platform-level initiatives.
