Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Job Description
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Quality Assurance (SQA)
Engineer with 0-6 months of experience. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding
of manual and automation testing concepts, ensuring software quality and performance.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and plans for software applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality standards.
- Conduct regression and performance testing.
- Prepare test reports and ensure compliance with testing standards.
- Work with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or others.
Requirements:
- 0-6 months of experience in software testing.
- Understanding of testing methodologies (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, UAT,
- etc.).
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Understanding of API testing (Postman, REST, SOAP APIs).
- Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of database testing.
