The Software Quality Assurance Tester III works in tandem with the local site to maintain the back-office GEM solution environment.  The Lead Product Quality Assurance Engineer will work hand in hand with the site Product Engineering team to test and identify issues when new or modified software is introduced. This position will provide assistance on standard support issues – ensuring a smooth operation of our platform, and on project specific work including new product releases, enhancements and upgrades of the product for the customer.

Job Duties / Key Accountabilities:

• Assist in testing OutSystems software releases
• Support new project/product implementations as well as support and maintain existing solutions.
• Ensure system capacity is being monitored and considered in planning.
• Liaison between the site and local operations management in assessing corporate wide requests and changes to the central system.
• Works closely with systems support and the local site operations when production issues arise.
• Works with site Quality Control and the Lottery to assist with localized testing of software changes/releases.
• Ability to test any software releases developed internally
• Test products according to agreed upon System Requirement or Functional Specifications.
• Report detailed issues to Back Office Support team for research and resolution
• Familiarity using Mail Merge for creating mailings
• Some knowledge of billing and invoicing processes
• Log and report problems to management
• Must be able to prioritize tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge:

Required:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge and experience in product promotions, hardware and systems software.
• Working knowledge of Linux, SQL and Windows Active Directory.
• Must have strong computer skills and proficiency in computer hardware and operating systems.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies.
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Ability to operate office equipment.

Desired:

• Prior experience in UAT environment desired.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Level Description

Demonstrates proficiency in and working knowledge of several areas of the function. Handles semi-routine duties.

Education/Years of Experience

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Years of experience 1 to 2 years
