The Position

Here’s what we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced, motivated Quality Assurance Engineer who will work closely with their backend colleagues, and who ideally has built digital products and platforms. As a code-magician, you will support our efforts to make diabetes suck less. You will primarily be working in a global set-up with teams in India, Austria, and Spain. We are committed to quality, dedicating time to code reviews, test coverage, quality days and CI/CD principles. If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance for our Spring Boot, IAM (Identity & Access Management), and Kubernetes-based microservices ecosystem. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our applications through automated testing frameworks and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Automated Testing:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (API, integration, and UI) for Spring Boot-based microservices.

• Experience using Selenium Webdriver.

• Work with Kubernetes to test containerized deployments, scalability, and fault tolerance.

• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).

• Conduct performance testing (JMeter/Gatling) and security scanning (OWASP ZAP/SonarQube).

✔ Collaboration & Best Practices:

• Work with DevOps to ensure smooth deployments in Kubernetes clusters.

• Partner with developers to improve test coverage and shift-left testing.

• Document test cases, defects, and QA processes.

Good to have:

✔ Functional & Security Testing:

• Validate IAM (Keycloak/OAuth2/OIDC) flows (authentication, authorization, token validation).
