Devsinc is in search of a dedicated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance our quality-focused team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our software products through meticulous testing and quality checks. You’ll work closely with the development team to understand requirements and implement testing strategies that guarantee high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements.
- Perform manual testing to find defects and usability issues in software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide valuable insights regarding quality concerns.
- Conduct regression testing to verify that existing functionalities are preserved after changes.
- Document and communicate testing results, defects, and other issues effectively to the development team.
- Participate in scrum meetings and contribute to ongoing project discussions.
- Stay current with industry best practices in software quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience in writing clear and concise test documentation.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A team-oriented attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
