Software Quality Analyst 2

VIP is seeking a Software Quality Analyst to join our ETL team. This position will test ETL jobs, work with our enterprise scheduler, manage source control and assist with the code release process.

Position Type: Full Time, Hybrid - will be required to report to our office in Colchester, VT.

Starting Pay Range: $65,000-$77,000 annually (Level 2)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Enhance the quality of our ETL jobs through testing and data validation
• Contribute breadth and depth to our overall testing infrastructure
• Develop, document, publish and implement test plans
• Manage source control
• Build and release code packages
• Provide on-call support as scheduled

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of SQL
• A working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Solid organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate status to complete complicated projects independently and on time

Desired Skills:

• IBM DataStage ETL Tool
• Stone Branch Enterprise Scheduler
• Python
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
• Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket)
