Garmin Connect Mobile is our best known, Fitness and Outdoor power-house companion app catering to over 20 millions active users and supporting an ever-growing number of compatible Garmin devices (around 150 at this point). The feature set is very rich and targets our complex user base with running, cycling, wellness, training, smartwatch, golfing, diving, and even pregnancy tracking feature.

We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. As a role based in Cluj-Napoca, this position will require 5 days in the office each week. 

Responsibilities:

·       Conduct detailed requirements analysis to ensure a clear understanding of project specifications.

·       Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

·       Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, and smoke testing.

·       Develop and execute effective test strategies to ensure product stability, quality, and performance.

·       Collaborate closely with the development team, providing continuous feedback throughout the development lifecycle.

·       Identify, log, track, and report defects using Jira.

·       Contribute to delivering high-quality products by actively supporting all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).


Requirements

·       Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, practices, and tools.

·       Minimum 4 years of experience testing mobile applications (iOS & Android).

·       Hands-on experience with REST clients (e.g., Postman, Insomnia) or similar tools.

·       Good knowledge of both backend and frontend testing, including API testing, database validation, and browser console usage.

·       Experience working with requirements management, UX considerations, test case design, defect management, and task tracking tools.

·       Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA lifecycle.

·       Advanced level of English proficiency.

·       Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize workload, and maintain strong attention to detail.

·       Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.


Would be a plus:

·       ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent.

·       Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·       Experience working with AI tools
