Eli Health is making continuous hormone monitoring possible so users can support their daily and long-term health. No more waiting days to track key biomarkers—get results you can use within minutes. Eli’s flagship product, Hormometer®, is the first instant hormone monitoring platform to deliver results from saliva to mobile app—anytime, anywhere.
Developed over six years of R&D, over 2,000 product iterations, and backed by a dozen patent-pending innovations, Eli’s award-winning platform turns hormones into measurable signals you can track and improve. Just as the thermometer and glucometer have transformed health for millions, Eli’s platform is poised to be the next major evolution in tracking changes in stress, endurance, sleep, and more.
About the role
Eli is looking for a Software QA to join our product team full-time, starting as soon as possible. You’ll be the voice of the customer within the team: working closely with product and design to ensure what we ship matches what we designed, and that the experience stays high as the app evolves, release after release.
For this role, we need someone who solves engineering problems well, notices what others miss, and is comfortable enough in code to keep an automated test suite healthy.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Verifying features against their design specs and acceptance criteria, and catching the deltas between what was designed vs. what was built.
Owning the bug backlog in Jira with the team’s support: reproducing, documenting, and prioritizing issues so the backlog shrinks rather than grows.
Maintaining and expanding our automated end-to-end test suite (Maestro) to cover every critical scenario across iOS and Android.
Keeping those tests stable in our CI pipelines (GitHub Actions): investigating failures, fixing flaky tests yourself, and flagging real regressions fast.
Testing releases by hand on real devices to catch the usability and edge-case issues automation can’t.
Working with developers, designers and product to build quality into features before the code is written.
You have already shown that you go beyond the minimum: relevant work experience, side projects, or school projects that went beyond what the course asked. You solve varied engineering problems well, and that matters to us more than any specific tool. You’re meticulous, you like finding what’s wrong and explaining it clearly, and you can read and write code. You’re fluent in English and based in Montreal.
Requirements
1+ years of experience
Able to read and write code proficiently, and to learn a test automation framework
Demonstrated engineering problem-solving: a project (work, side, or school) you can walk us through
Strong attention to detail and organization
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Based in Montreal and willing to work from the office
Nice to haves
Experience with a mobile end-to-end framework (Maestro, Detox, Appium) or automated testing more broadly
Familiarity with TypeScript / JavaScript or React Native
Experience with git and CI pipelines (such as GitHub Actions)
Experience reading design specs in Figma
Interest in health or digital health
If you don’t exactly match the description but believe you’d be a great addition to the team, please reach out — we value curiosity, mindset, and character.

Eli is a women's health company on a mission to improve lifelong health by continuously monitoring hormones in saliva. Hormones impact overall health every day and at all stages of life. Yet, traditional testing methods and send-out tests only provide infrequent snapshots. In three simple steps, Eli's at-home technology continuously provides personalized hormone profiles to transform how women manage their hormonal health in key areas like menopause, fertility, contraception, and endocrine conditions. This scientific and engineering breakthrough, resulting from years of R&D, enables Eli to fill a major data gap and provide people with the information they need to optimize their overall health from puberty through menopause and beyond. *We're hiring* so if you want to join us on our mission, we'd love to connect!
