Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software QA Trainee to learn and support software testing activities. In this role, you will assist in executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and validating functionality under the guidance of senior team members.
You will help maintain test documentation, record results, and gain hands-on experience with QA processes, tools, and best practices, building a strong foundation in software testing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation and execution of manual test cases based on defined requirements and user stories
  • Learn and understand the domain, technologies, and processes used within the assigned project
  • Log, track, and retest defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools
  • Support the QA team by maintaining accurate test documentation and reports
  • Contribute to project tasks assigned by the manager or mentor in a timely and organised manner
  • Provide ongoing support to senior team members in daily testing and delivery activities
  • Follow established industry standards and company-wide QA processes and best practices
  • Work collaboratively with team members while continuously building testing knowledge and skills
  • Perform other related duties as required to support project and team objectives

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
  • Familiarity with manual testing concepts such as test cases, test plans, and defect reporting
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and build a career in software testing and quality assurance
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Experience
  • Open to entry-level and junior candidates with a basic understanding of software testing and QA methodologies
  • Academic projects, coursework, or internship experience related to QA or software testing will be considered an added advantage

Nice to Have
  • Exposure to bug-tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Basic awareness of healthcare or clinical data system
