Job Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering moderately complex projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements. This role validates project scope, develops project plans and schedules, manages stakeholder communications, identifies and mitigates risks, and drives successful project execution. Key Responsibilities:
Validate project scope, objectives, plans, schedules, and resource requirements for moderately complex projects.
Ensure adherence to project success metrics and contribute recommendations for measuring project performance and outcomes.
Apply established project management standards, methodologies, processes, and governance requirements.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating concerns to management when appropriate.
Manage project delivery processes, scope, schedule, and costs under broad supervision while driving project completion.
Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality expectations.
Build and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders, business partners, and leadership teams.
Develop and execute communication plans to ensure transparency and alignment across all stakeholder groups.
Support organizational change initiatives by identifying project impacts, building awareness, and encouraging stakeholder adoption.
Contribute to the development and delivery of training and change management activities associated with project implementations.
Evaluate project outcomes against defined success metrics and recommend improvements to processes, tools, resources, and solutions.
Prepare and deliver project status reports, dashboards, performance metrics, and management updates.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of project management practices and operational effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of project objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, product development, technology programs, or related project management environments.
Demonstrated project management experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Project management education, training, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, Agile/Scrum, or other recognized project management certifications.
Experience managing software development, product development, or enterprise transformation projects.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet or similar platforms.
