Senior SW Quality Assurance Engineer SDN
Position & Key Responsibilities
The candidate will participate in the complete software development cycle within an Agile Scrum team taking full responsibility for delivering high quality software and creating value to the organization. The team is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation and testing of the features that are in their scope.
The candidate will work in a multi-national/multi-cultural environment, part of a cross-functional development team that delivers software for Network Management Solutions for Infinera Advanced Optical Networks.
The Senior SW QA Engineer will work in the Product R&D lifecycle using Agile Methodology:

Defining together with the team the implementation and test strategy

Reviewing Product Specifications and developing test plans
-
Automating and executing test cases and documenting results
-
Supporting test automation initiatives based in Java in a DevOps environment.
Position Requirements
Academic background:
-
MsC / BsC degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field,
-
Fluent in English, spoken and written,
-
ISTQB certification is valuable.
Technical skills:
-
Knowledge of DWDM/OTN/IP technologies and fundamentals of Fiber Optical Transmission.

5 years prior experience in SW testing, test automation or technical role in the Telecom industry.
Personal Attributes:

Responsible and accountable, ownership and pride in your work.

Good communication skills including ability to share knowledge.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Work Model:
Hybrid (2-3 days a week in the office expected)
