We are looking for aSoftware QA Engineerto join our Bangalore-based engineering team, ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of the World News Express platform. You will be at the heart of testing a live content delivery system that global newsrooms depend on every single day- from validating API integrations , End testing and automation pipelines to ensuring seamless audio/video streaming experiences for our media customers. 

 

About the Role  

You’re a fit for the role of Software QA Engineer if your background includes:  

  • Designing and executing comprehensive test cases across functional, integration, system, and UAT levels throughout the full software development lifecycle. 
  • Building and maintaining automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, Postman, and Playwright for end-to-end UI, API, and regression testing. 
  • Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and early defect detection across environments. 
  • Validating API behaviour including request/response payloads, authentication flows, and service-level interactions using Postman. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams during sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and review sessions to align QA activities with delivery goals.
