The Creation Platform is at the core of Amadeus’ growth strategy, powering the next-generation travel ecosystem. It connects partners, suppliers, customers, and travelers with solutions, capabilities, intelligence, and content, enabling traveler-centric journeys of tomorrow.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Creation Platform – Fast Data team. This platform spans all segments of our business, including reservations, ticketing, departure control, inventory, and airline proprietary systems. It allows airlines to react in real-time to their operations, creating and running key use cases in a modern, highly serviceable environment. The team focuses on openness of our Fast Data capabilities, enabling customers full self-service over enhancing their products both at the core and the edge using developer Studios.

In this role you'll find a chance to:

Test Planning & Strategy
  • Define test strategies, plans, and cases (functional, non-functional, and non-regression), ensuring traceability with requirements and customer specifications.

  • Contribute to specification and architecture reviews, providing feedback on risks and gaps.

  • Continuously improve non-regression test repositories in line with Change Request plans.

Test Design & Execution
  • Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases (UI, API).

  • Prepare test environments and test data, validating features against exit criteria.

  • Provide go/no-go decisions for customer test campaigns.

  • Maintain and optimize test cases in regression and CI/CD pipelines, addressing flaky tests and updating as needed.

Defect Management
  • Report, investigate, and verify defects, documenting issues clearly.

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure timely fixes and validate Production PTRs.

  • Ensure overall quality control of projects, products, or releases.

Knowledge Sharing & Communication
  • Participate in specification reviews and provide input on testing requirements.

  • Report on testing progress, milestones, and activities to stakeholders, software developers, and product analysts.

Compliance & Best Practices
  • Ensure internal processes and procedures are followed properly.

  • Demonstrate strong responsibility for company assets and proactively address security vulnerabilities and breaches.

  • Contribute to the improvement and implementation of test automation frameworks.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Collaborative and proactive with a strong focus on quality.

  • Technical and functional expertise in testing back-end applications.

  • Experience with API testing using Postman,

  • Experience with Robot Framework

  • Experience in designing and executing test cases, both manual and automated.
