Title: Software QA Engineer
Job Location: 901 S. Bolmar Street, West Chester, PA 19382 and various unanticipated worksites in U.S.
Primary Duties:
Test the design, build, and execution of scalable and stable off the shelf applications or custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs. Track any quality risks, gaps or issues and communicate with software development teams. Monitor the status of testing initiatives, update stakeholders, provide status reports to the business teams, and lead triage meetings. Ensure customer satisfaction through delivery of top-quality professional services. Contribute to the entire implementation process for new applications and enhancements to existing applications and processes. Provide technical expertise to problem-solving and escalating issues during project deliverables. Implement and evolve QA processes to get effective test signal and scale testing efforts across multiple products. Conduct root cause analysis and complex performance tuning. Serve as primary contact for all quality aspects for releases. Utilize knowledge of testing concepts, automation scripts, SQL queries, and API testing to determine application test planning, test design, and execution. Up to 100% travel to various client offices throughout the U.S. is required (Roving Employment). Telecommuting from home office may be available per company policy.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Experience: In addition to degree, must have at least 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Hands on experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Working with automated test frameworks and test runners.
- Utilizing test case management and test case management tools.
- Using version control systems such as GitLab.
- Using SQL or other query methods to retrieve data from relational databases.
- Working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
