Job Title: Software QA Engineer 4 days per week on-site in McKinney/Plano, TX

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
• Perform Salesforce QA testing, ensuring functionality, security, and compliance with business requirements.
• Conduct API testing and API automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
• Identify, document, and track software defects in collaboration with development teams.
• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing when required.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand system functionality and ensure quality standards are met.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for automated testing.
• Enhance and optimize test automation frameworks and methodologies.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in QA automation and software testing.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Experience within the financial services/banking industry.
• Strong experience in Selenium with Java for web application automation.
• Proficiency in Salesforce testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Expertise in API testing and API automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, or Karate.
• Experience in UView testing and other enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an analytical QA mindset.
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Experience with performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner (preferred).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Detailed knowledge of Azure DevOps, including test plan management, pipeline automation, and integration with QA frameworks.
• Experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD) testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
