About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate Test Automation Engineer / SDET to join our Quality Engineering team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to grow their expertise in building automation frameworks, writing high-quality test scripts, and working with modern CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software products.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and execution of regression suites.
- Work with senior engineers to enhance automation frameworks and adopt best practices.
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for faster release cycles.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure features are testable and meet acceptance criteria.
- Investigate test failures, debug automation issues, and assist in defect triage.
- Stay updated on the latest tools and practices in test automation.
- 1–3 years of experience in Test Automation / QA Engineering / SDET roles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Rest Assured.
- Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured).
- Understanding of OOP concepts, Page Object Model (POM), and basic design patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Linux/Unix environments (commands, scripting, log analysis, environment setup).
- database skills – SQL queries, schema validation, data integrity checks.
- Exposure to Agentic AI or AI-assisted test automation tools (self-healing tests, NLP-based test generation).
- Experience with performance or load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Internship or project experience in automation frameworks.
