Basic Function: The Software QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the function of software systems conform to company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Continually expand knowledge of our software systems and how users interact with them.
  • Perform testing for software modifications.
  • Design and execute systems to check for issues.
  • Document test cases.
  • Record test progress and results.
  • Create test plans.
  • Delegate software testing where necessary to meet requirements and timelines.
  • Interface with users and Operations Specialist to gather user/designer feedback on mods.
  • Interface with developers to ensure the timely completion of mods.
  • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
  • Discover and report software system bugs.
  • Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes.
  • Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing.
  • Identify any potential problems that users might encounter.
  • Perform manual and automated testing.
  • Perform and document risk analysis.
  • Research and analyze product features being tested.
  • Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes.
  • Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred OR two (2) or more years in a similar position or related field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excel Proficiency.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting tools.
  • Ability to multi-task and time manage.
  • Worldclass professionalism and working well with stakeholders.
  • Enhanced Computer Literacy.
  • Ability to lead group meetings.
  • Math Aptitude.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
