Software Project Manager (Installations) – Nordic Region
Shape the future of cancer care technology across the Nordics
We’re seeking a technically strong Software Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end software installation projects for enterprise healthcare IT solutions across the Nordic region. This is a customer‑facing role with real clinical impact, working on Treatment Planning Software (TPS), system integrations, and oncology IT environments.
You’ll own projects from Sales Order through clinical acceptance, coordinating closely with customers, IT teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful, compliant implementations. Travel across the Nordics is expected (approx. 20–30%).
What You’ll Do
Act as the primary project partner for customers throughout the installation lifecycle
Lead onsite readiness visits covering IT infrastructure, facility preparation, and risk assessment
Work with customer IT teams on servers, networks, security, storage, backup, and disaster recovery
Review Sales Orders, identify dependencies and risks, and drive timelines and coordination
Oversee readiness checks, shipping, commissioning, and acceptance
Produce clear technical requirements and project documentation
Build expertise in Varian software, oncology workflows, and installation standards
Share lessons learned to support continuous improvement
What You Bring
Experience in Project Management, Healthcare IT, Field Service, or Engineering
Strong technical knowledge of:
Windows Server environments
Networking (VLANs, routing, firewalls, security)
Enterprise client–server software deployments
Experience with healthcare IT systems (e.g. TPS, PACS, EMR) is a strong advantage
Confident communicator with clinical, technical, and senior stakeholders
Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Office, Visio, and IT tools
ERP experience (e.g. Workday) and Varian software knowledge are a plus
Location
Ideally based in Denmark, but open to candidates located in Norway.

Skills Required
- Experience in Project Management, Field Customer Service or Engineering
- Strong customer service acumen
- Fluency in both a Scandinavian language and English (both verbal and written communication)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in field
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as E-mail, AI, Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired
- Knowledge of Varian's software suite is preferable
- Extensive networking skills
