BlackStone eIT is looking for a highly motivated and organized Software Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will manage software development projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance, to develop project plans, set measurable goals, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Your ability to adapt and problem-solve will be essential in navigating the complexities of project management and driving project success.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of project tasks.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any risks or issues that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide updates on project status.
- Facilitate meetings and ensure all documentation is maintained accurately.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in software development.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.
