In the role of a Software Product Owner digital (m/f/d) in the SmarTest 8 Software for the V93k platform you will take ownership of the development of HW drivers and features for digital instruments.
- Investigate product requirements in close cooperation with our HW & maintenance organizations, marketing & sales organizations, product management and key customers
- Work with application experts and other product owners to transform customer and business requirements into SW requirements, innovative product definitions and best in class software solutions
- Strive for application fit, quality, consistency of design and usability, consolidating the requirements across multiple domains
- Ensure the product fully utilizes our modular platform and fits into our SW and HW architecture
- Consult product management on market trends and customer test strategies
- Contribute to the product vision and own the backlog for a specific domain or team and drive the prioritization
- Guide a SW development team throughout the entire feature development cycle, based on agile working methodologies
- Cooperate with other teams, especially Product Owners, our world-wide community of Application Experts and Product Marketing
- Have direct interactions with our sales organization and lead customers (occasional travel might apply)
- Make decisions to select between possible solutions, balancing time-to-market, scope and investments
- Work together with partner product owners in other teams developing SW for 93k digital cards, especially in Japan
- Proven experience developing SW for Advantest SmarTest 8 for V93000 digital cards for at least 3 years
- Good knowledge about semiconductor test and applied test methodologies and ATE concepts
- Knowledge of digital/processor fundamentals, technology and equipment
- understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
- Experience in dealing with partners and customers on international level
- Ability and willingness to effectively collaborate with AI-assisted tools
- Strong team player and soft skills in interacting with people, familiar with working in international matrix organizations
- Ability to lead and drive projects
- Strong customer focus and structured working style
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Basic German language skills
- preferred basic Japanese language skills
- Good communication and presentation skills. Open minded, ability to listen and convince other team members
- Experience in agile SW development, preferably SAFe
Skills Required
- At least 3 years of experience developing software for Advantest SmarTest 8 and V93000 digital cards
- Knowledge of semiconductor testing, applied test methodologies, and ATE concepts
