About Woven by Toyota
Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what “mobility” means and how it serves society.
Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation. Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.

TEAM
Creating high-quality software, like automated driving systems or advanced driver assistance systems, is both challenging and urgent. It’s crucial to meticulously design software architecture, development processes, environments, and testing methodologies to meet this goal.
The Global Quality Assurance team’s mission is to establish and strengthen quality assurance, including auditing methods and analysis of measured data for development projects, and to ensure that development activities across teams are properly executed and produce high-quality outputs. We believe that active involvement and effective communication, coupled with expertise in processes, products, tools, and development management, are essential to drive these efforts.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an outstanding Software Product Assessor to develop a mechanism to ensure our software’s quality. Our activities include not only process audit but also product assessment, which reviews the product from safety, security, and AI perspectives. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including system design, architecture, development, testing, project management, and other support teams. We seek individuals who can adapt product assessment to a real project. Building relationships with team members and stakeholders is essential.

- Lead product assessment not as a "checker," but as a technical partner. Use the assessment process as a forum for deep technical dialogue to help teams identify design, architecture, and coding risks early in the development lifecycle
- Prepare and present product assessment reports to management that detail the assessment results, including any identified issues and recommendations for corrective actions
- Continuously improve our operational efficiency by integrating state-of-the-art automation tools, transforming our product assessment workflow into a scalable, data-driven engine that evolves alongside Woven by Toyota’s engineering needs
